Robust housing with optimal heat dissipation
For a leading German company in the lighting industry, astria manufactures a large die-cast housing (approx. 900 × 450 mm) designed for efficient cooling. High requirements for heat dissipation, stability, and low weight are met through targeted material selection, precise machining, surface grinding of LED areas, and powder coating for outdoor use. From design freeze to series delivery, the project was completed in less than 20 weeks – a remarkable achievement both technically and organisationally.
